I believe I heard CP3 on CST last night say that Del Piero would get a look or a shot in the European league just based off his height. Would be nice to see him play well this season. Noticed he likes to foul -- Had 4 or so within 5 minutes.

Northwestern got smart... When he was in they would let their 5 iso from the top of the key. Del Piero may be 7 feet tall but he has the reflexes of a rock. Couldnt help but foul as the guy drove the lane.

McConathy is a good coach. I'm surprised he hasn't been picked up by a bigger school in the last 10 years or so.

Yikes. At least we have two guys that realize those shots are free.

You can tell the free throw shooting is in their head... They want to redeem themselves and are too worried about it. Each miss the team looks deflated. It's interesting, but I think at some point they turn it around as a team and start hitting shots.

The fans rally behind him. He doesn't bring "energy" at all, but the fans sure do when he does anything significant!

Nice to finally see an offense in the PMAC
Some of the foul calls were bad - Pietro had an awesome block, all ball
On one play, Hickey didn't even touch guy but looked like official was blocked from view

My only concern is it took me back to Dale Brown era, no lead is safe. Visions of UK coming from 30 back

I met him this Saturday. I told him I was the guy who always yelled Eddiiieeeee at the most random times and he admitted he hears it.

Eddie does certain things right that I don't think many people notice, but I have given up the totals I think he will achieve this year. What he does doesn't have a stat available.

He does a great job of setting screens, even when not planned. People rub their defender on him and they know he will stand still and rub him off. Coleman used this and Hickey used it a bunch of times.

He took his 4th and 5th charge of the year. I wish this was a universally kept stat because I bet he will be in top 5 in nation this year in charges taken. He got another 7 rebounds this game so he is being relatively productive on the boards, but he has to clean up his turnover problem.

He said Coleman was another Ludwig last week. I'm still laughing at that

ABSOLUTELY WRONG....

I pointed out that Coleman does all the little things right like Ludwig, which is correct. He doesn't get all his points from post ups or 3's, he gets them from being smart and being in the right spot.

Coleman isn't the most athletic. He isn't the purest shooter (though his shot is good). He just does everything right. Nothing great, but nothing bad.

I think Coleman is as big of an improvement as can be to Eddie, but they are made in a similar mold. It would be like a black and white tv (eddie) vs a 1080P flatscreen (coleman).

Eddie Ludwig was the best free throw shooter last season at 83% to Stringers 82%... Both of which have not performed well at the stripe to this point this season.

Dude Ludwig is terrible. In the first two minutes of the game he had 3 turnovers, had a shot blocked and commited a foul.

LSU looked to be in control up over 20 points in the second half before slowing the pace of the game. The Tigers tried to hold the ball rather than attack on offense and it backfired.

Johnny Jones should know how that works out for LSU better than anyone

wtf don't slow it down JJ shite
