I haven't been able to watch a game yet (work ) so thanks for the breakdown
I have a question.
Why is Eddie Ludwig playing 22 minutes a game and Johnny O is only playing 15???

because Johnny got hurt at around the 11 minute mark in game 1 and had 4 fouls (while recovering from an injury) in this game

JOB.......... 1 for 3
Ludwig....... 2 of 4
Carmouche.... 11 of 15
Hickey....... 8 of 10
Morgan....... 0 of 3
Collins...... 1 of 2
Coleman...... 4 of 8
Stringer..... 1 of 4
Hammink...... 1 of 2

When you look at it like this it doesn't look AS BAD as 29-51. It's like we just have a bunch of below average ft shooters on the team, except Hickey and Carmouche

Ludwig's biggest problem is his hands. Any contact at all and the ball goes flying off in a random direction. Hell, half the time he is all alone for the rebound he somehow loses it out of bounds.

Aaaahhh makes sense thanks
What did he hurt? And I'm guessing he's ok since he's playing again?

That's been a problem for him going back to high school. He's just not very strong (for a D-1 Forward)

Kentucky would have come back on pretty much anybody that night.

I dont think we'll be in foul trouble that bad the rest of the year. The refs were calling fouls for everything and nsu had two big guys that could make us pay. They led the comeback at the end. Del piero completely changed the way those guys played in the first half. If he continues to improve he will be a huge asset for us.

Johnny Jones should know how that works out for LSU better than anyone

wtf don't slow it down JJ shite

I do think a large part of the slowing down was due to forward foul trouble. Didn't want to get into a race when every forward we had available (guessing Courtney was hurt for hte game) had 3 or 4 fouls only about 5 mnutes into the second half.

Nice graphs. Most of us would appreciate these from time to time.

Like I said I didn't watch the game but this makes sense.
Also maybe he wanted to work on playing more of a half court game when necessary. I mean running up and down the court is a great way to play but when we have a lead late in an SEC game it'd be nice if we could slow it down and hold the lead

I should be able to do this after every game. Gonna continue to try. Ive got some pretty in depth spread sheets to track stats where I can pull out some pretty cool graphs. So far just doing team %'s but will move on to player development graphs around when SEC play starts.

Graphs make it so much easier to read the numbers.

yea i meant to say he energized the team when they went through that cold spell near the end of the 1st half. the crowd thrives off of watching him huff and puff out there.

I believe I heard CP3 on CST last night say that Del Piero would get a look or a shot in the European league just based off his height. Would be nice to see him play well this season. Noticed he likes to foul -- Had 4 or so within 5 minutes.

Hell, if his uncoordinated arse can play in the Euro league I should go try my shot and making some money over there

No doubt. I knew exactly what you meant. I was very happily surprised by his play last night.

He will get the 5-6 rebounds I said, but the scoring totals were based on the idea that he would at least make free throws... If he makes all his free throws, he is about where I said he would be.
