For this year, this schedule is exactly what this team needs
As long as people understand what being "undefeated" means at this point in the year. I'm hearing way too much overhyping of this team b/c of their record thus far. Lets hold out judgement until we actually beat someone worth a darn.

Also, last night we were short two players, if it means anything.
Really? Which two players were out?

garret green and dennis harris. both 6'10. green is more like an okur type player. harris is a thin guy like CJ.

Our SOS won't be great but we've already played at least POSSIBLE tourney teams in JAckson State and Cal State-Fullerton and had no trouble beating either. We do have 4 OOC games that will tell us a lot (@ Utah, A & M in Houston, Wazzu and X) and we should pickup a lot of SEC wins reguardless of how we do against those 4 OOC. NCAA tourney bid is looking REALLY good right now.

I do worry how they will react it being their first game away from BR. If it's like the last time LSU played in the Toyota Center, it will be pretty neutral. Also, it will be the biggest crowd some of these younger players have ever played in front of.

Someone has to win games in the SEC west. LSU looks to have the most talent in the division

Storm played sparingly. He had an offensive foul and got schooled on the wing in back to back plays and was immediately taken out. As for Graham, Green, and Harris, are we really depending on these guys for valuable minutes? If we are, we really are going to have some problems this year.

Alabama hasn't impressed so far and they should be LSU's main competitor. IF LSU stays healthy, they could possibly win 9-10 SEC games. Having said that, I'll hold off on any serious predictions until early Jan for obvious reasons.

This year is reminding me of the year we started 13-0 and our only descent win in that stretch was OSU in the Arena..but the confidence the team/fan base had led to a really good year

On a team like this, everyone has a role. You say we played sloppy, maybe they were a bit more tired without some capable subs to go in for a few minutes. Every little bit helps. Sure, Graham, Green, and Harris don't see the floor often...but as subs, they have a job even if it's only for 2 or 3 minutes a game.

This year reminds you of the year we had Stromile Swift, Jabari Smith, Lamont Roland, etc.??? Who's this year's Stromile Swift? I don't think that that is a good comparison. This team has nowhere near the talent that that team did.

Have you seen the SEC? Dude, this team is fairly good looking and the SEC as a whole sucks this year.
