I remember, in that not too distant past, when only a handful of regular season games were watchable anywhere. Be happy that you can watch 95% of the games now instead of bitching about maybe having to pay some money to watch 4.

This. I grew up in the 90’s listening to the games on the radio.
shite 15 years ago I would have paid any amount of money to watch the entire season.

The way I see it, the game is worth what you’re willing to pay. $50 bucks to see the whole tournament is change in the pocket. And you’re helping Kendall continue to promote college baseball. Win/Win if you ask me.

$20 for one game against DBU is criminal

$35 for a weekend of action isn't really a big deal

Not a chance I'd pay the 20 bucks radio will have to do

Yep.

College baseball doesn't have a big national following (or even a moderately large national following). TV networks aren't going to spend a lot of money to broadcast it. The fact that most games are available to watch on TV, even if this set is PPV, is a HUGE advance from not that long ago. I think maybe even as late as 2015 the only way to catch most games was to listen to the radio.

I think the talent level in college baseball may be better than it has been in years. But the national reach of the sport may be shrinking. It has always been largely a regional sport. That may be becoming more pronounced with the dismantling of the Pac 12. The west coast teams used to be every bit as good as those in the SEC/ACC footprint. Now, on the whole, not so much. 95% of the interest is concentrated in the southeastern US (not just the SEC conference). You are seeing that in real time with so many great west coast players choosing to play in the SEC.

The price isn't for the Frisco Classic specifically. It's for the ability to stream games from all 4 Peak Events tournaments.

Ok? Kendall knows he has to have LSU in this to have the best chance at getting numbers
