Will one need ESPN Plus this year to watch baseball games?

If it's anything like the last couple of years, only 2-3 games will be ESPN+. Everything else will be ESPN3/SEC networks.

Was wondering the same thing.

Hoping that instead of back and forth on the various ESPN channels it is all on ESPN plus.

I don’t know the answer, but I’d say it’s worth getting if that is the case. It’s not expensive.

Probably for Feb 24 at ULL, Mar 10 at UNO, maybe Mar 23 at Tulane but they may have something else.

Not on ESPN + they will be on SEC Network +

Now when the new contract starts after the CBS deal than one football game per school and I believe some basketball and likely baseball will probably be on ESPN + but I'm not giving ESPN anymore money with the current platforms I have.
I will either have to change something or skip those games.

All SEC games and non conference home games will definitely be on one of the ESPN channels or mostly they will be on ESPN3/SEC Network+

If you have a subscription with ESPN in your package to any TV provider you will not have to pay extra for those games.

The only games that are typically on ESPN+ are the midweek away games.

It depends on what kind of TV deal the home team has.

None of our home games should be on ESPN+

This is true, but I feel like I've noticed ESPN trying to get more and more games on ESPN+.

This is definitely their ultimate plan.

Streaming is my question. Normally: if you have SEC network on cable, you can stream games on outside TVs and phones.

If I need Plus to watch more games can I cancel SEC network?

Per Nate Fury the Director of Baseball Operations the TV schedule has not been finalized. Once it has the schedule on LSUSports.net will be updated to reflect that.
