So what are the other Peak Event tournaments?

I was thinking same thing, so I checked with my good friend Google, and this is what he told me.

Peak Events is hosting four college baseball tournaments in early 2026: the Round Rock Classic, Jacksonville Classic, Las Vegas College Baseball Classic, and Frisco Classic. These tournaments will feature a total of 16 teams from 11 states, according to Peak Events on Facebook. The Round Rock and Jacksonville Classics will take place February 20-22, while the Las Vegas and Frisco Classics are scheduled for February 27-March 1, according to Peak Events. Additionally, the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series will return to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, from February 20-22 and February 27-March 1, featuring different sets of powerhouse teams each weekend, according to globelifefield.com.

Corpus Christi and San Antonio want us to play there but I dont know of any tournaments in either one. It would be fun to see LSU fans on the Riverwalk in SA calling it a bayou and trying to swim the 5 yards across it!!!

LSU should selfishly play a weekend at Constellation Field in Sugar Land.

Someone needs to set up a late February tourney in Phoenix/Scottsdale to pair with Spring Training.

Or a tourney in SoCal to showcase our team to future Cali Tigers!!

That’s too bad. Houston is such a mess I rather watch them in Round Rock personally if it’s one over the other.

You don't think that plays a part in wanting to play in Vegas?

I’ve always wondered how overrated this is as a factor.

If I’m a prospect in that region, would LSU playing two games in my area really somehow impact my recruitment? In today’s social media and internet world?

So a recruit from Vegas would commit to LSU because LSU played three games in front of his family while he was still in high school?

These tournaments are scheduled year of—clearly. How would that impact his decision?

They can know the team would try to play in his region during his time there. Not that crazy.

I get it. Just seems like a minor factor at best in why we play in these tournaments/games across the sports nowadays.

Maybe our pitching wasn't as good as advertised that's why we not playing in Texas. Just a guess on my part lol..

What on earth would lead you to make that guess? That is bizarre.
