They said they got moderately encouraging news from the doctors the other. Not sure what that means but it would lend me to think they don't think it will require surgery.

Last I remember, he was out for the year after shoulder surgery in the fall. Not sure what's going on with that

Yes. It was Whitty for sure. He was wearing a jersey like a player on the roster. A player was sitting at our table at the banquet the other day and I asked him about Whitty and his status. He seemed evasive in his answer and seemed uncomfortable about it. I am not sure what is going on, but will inquire further.
