So boring tonight. Half our posters are in jail.

I wonder if we will steal more bases this year. You would think with all of our team speed that we would have better success stealing bases.

Yea and others kinda afraid to say anything for getting banned.

Idk. For years I've gotten excited with our speed. Then we run into a hit and run every at bat with someone on.

I just hope we don't make too many baserunning mistakes. I remember quite a few frustrating plays last year.

Hit and runs are the devil.

I rather a hit and run than giving up an out on a bunt. It leads to bigger innings.

I hope we steal more. I want to move runners up without the use of small ball.

On a bunt you can take a ball. On a hit and run we usually have to swing at a bad pitch and pop the ball up. My biggest issue with the hit and run and CPM is he puts it on when the other pitcher is struggling. So we are forced to swing at a pitch, even if it's a ball, and many times we help the struggling pitcher out.

Let the pitcher get tired, nervous, etc. and fall behind in the count.

Mainieri has an aggressive philosophy when it comes to baserunning. Mistakes will still happen, but there will also be runs produced because of it.

I'm going to go ahead and say it. This will be our best offensive team since 2009.

Laird will hit 1 home run and 24 backhand volleys to shallow left field for singles. Which is fine. Somebody has to be the set up man.

For my homies

I can live with one

My vote is two early in the season, a short bout of "swinging for the fence" followed by a return to normalcy and then one more late. 3 total!!

This new ball may temporarily mess up some good hitters with the aura of a HR.

You will no doubt be frustrated with baserunning. We are always ultra agressive early on and get smarter towards the end of the season.

I like his hit and runs when we go on one of our scoring droughts. But hate when he tries it when things are going well
