Jay Johnson: “It’s tough moving games here— don’t want to make too early of a decision for the rest of the weekend. I hope people still come anyway because it’s a Top 5 matchup.” Said he’s rather move a game up than try to play and have to stop— that makes things more complicated. #LSU

I hope he talked to pride first before making this decision

No. If he gets an hour and a half of baseball, that’s 6-7 innings and a full start for him.
Ok. The chance of rain from noon to 1:30 is roughly 19%

The chance of rain from 5-6:30 is roughly 29%

That’s low in both scenarios, and don’t think the complete time change of taking most fans ability to attend isn’t justified for that difference. I understand you disagree

You play the odds to get your Ace the best chance to throw as many pitches as possible. Seems obvious.

yeah, i get the need to move it up. But for him to think people will come anyway is kind of silly.

We will lose a couple thousand but plenty are changing plans. My son has a half day. I’m bringing him to the box.

i only work til 11 on Fridays so, I can make it. But, already know a bunch who can't.

Again, i get why it's being moved.

I like it. Get the game in and get it done. There's still some questions about how bad it might actually be in Baton Rouge. There's a decent chance there's just some showers on Friday evening that they could play through. But you gotta make the call now and they did.

I am convinced people on here will complain about absolutely anything. Had we moved the game up only a couple hours and it been impacted by rain, the same people would be saying I told you we should have moved it up earlier.

If I had to guess it was negotiations. We wanted to move the game earlier to get skenes a solid chance of full game, and arkys play was then “ok if we move it it’s to noon”

You have no idea what a negotiation is, do you?

Anybody know what’s scheduled for noon on the SECN?

All SECN has tomorrow afternoon is Kentucky Pro Day and Finebaum.

Even if he gets interrupted after 4 innings, dem’s the breaks. We would just lose 6 outs from him

How can we manage this so it's only a 5-inning / official game?

Playing two on Saturday would be beneficial to next weekend’s series since it's Thursday - Saturday.
