Why are they moving this? AccuWeather shows 25% chance of rain. Sunday looks to be the bad day.

Home field advantage has been nullified at the box. I understand it’s more important to get the game in but I would have like to see that place rocking for our Friday night ace.

It makes zero sense for lsu to agree to that time. Moving it to 5 would have given plenty of time with the forecast and given fans the opportunity to actually attend.

Then why move game 1? Keep it at same time and play Saturday and Sunday games as a DH on Saturday.

Rather that than sending the fans home early and trying to resume the game the following day. Also ensures we get Skenes for an entire start. I'd rather us have a better chance of winning game 1 than our fans being inconvenienced

Moving it to 5pm or if need be 4pm would have made so much more sense. At this rate they should have put it at 10am

Because game 1 has a strong enough chance of rain too if played at the scheduled time. If Friday's game doesn't get played at all or has to be resumed Saturday, then you're still dealing with issues Sunday and won't be able to finish 1 game and play 2 more all on Saturday. Doing these gives us more flexibility to ensure all three games get played to completion.
