Damn that is a steep drop! Wouldn’t have thought on Friday that LSU basketball would pass baseball today coming into the weekend at #13 for basketball and #1 in baseball

It is not a surprising drop considering how bad the pitching has been. Lsu has given up a huge amount of runs so far this season.

Considering the fact that Florida finished a week 2-3 a couple weeks ago and they slid maybe one spot. Florida has 3 losses to directional Florida schools.

I'm okay with it. We deserve to get dinged for that weekend. I still believe this team is way better than what they showed this weekend and they will bounce back. There's a lot of young players that will improve massively as the year goes on. I still think we end the season with a top 8 seed. But if they don't then the rankings will work themselves out.

Couldn’t catch a game this weekend so maybe all the melting ive seen here is justified but for anyone still looking to get over it go look at Florida’s schedule a couple years ago when they beat us in the NC. They were preseason top 5 and got swept by Florida Gulf coast and then by auburn in the first SEC series of the year and still tied us for SEC title and won NC.
Too early in the season to be drawing conclusions already
