I know it looks like it won't be a prime time game, but I've seen "TBA" game times decided a week before kickoff. We shall see. I'm good with a 3:30 kickoff. Just WIN. LOL

I'm fine with 2:30. Less time for the team to sit around thinking about it and less time for me to sit around drinking about it.

Hate this cause you just know when the game comes here the same will happen. Don’t fear the night, it’s one our biggest rivals play it under the lights!

We don't want to be in Tuscaloosa at night..Advantage us i think...could say burrow has his best games at night no matter the location though

There is no doubt the 2:30 game helps the tigers. Just think if we were playing in Tiger Stadium at night....the advantage we would have. For sure, Alabama would have that same advantage at home and at night!!
Go Tigers!!

If it was in BR, I’d care more but I really don’t here.

1. There’s still time, so it could change in the next week, who knows.

2. It’s @Bama so maybe an afternoon game favors us better

AL.com article. Pretty much says that to move the kickoff time CBS has to contact the league office and that hasn’t happened yet. And with the game three weeks away it looks doubtful it’s getting moved.

Time still is TBD on this game so the article is full of shite.

CBS invokes a 7 day window every few weeks so this can go down to the last week before KO.

Well that depends on what week CBS picks for their prime time game, this year they took Notre Dame-UGA

This contract with CBS getting one night game a year is ridiculous. Bad negotiation on their part. There are several games throughout the season that can make great primetime matchups.

The argument that night games are better for the team is asinine.

LSU has had just as good if not a better record in 230 games as night games.

LSU would be foolish to let this happen...... CBS made a deal and need to stick to it.... I say 2:30 all the way..... I don’t think the ratings will be that different considering that it could be a 1-2 matchup........

I have a feeling if it’s 1vs2, espn will ask for Texas@lsu next year plus whatever money they can get out of them.

Negotiations playing out in the media is what this is. ESPN trying to push the demand and price up early to let CBS know that it’s gonna cost em.

I’d actually prefer it be day since road game, but it will be interesting to watch the CBS-ESPN negotiations play out.

Would be extra juicy if they did this with the caveat they get to show it on ABC (which to those unaware is forbidden in SEC home stadiums) as well.
