Meh, I may not agree with it, but I am not going to cry like a bitch because someone hurt my feelings.
well I have not cried over this and my feelings are not hurt.

But that has nothing to do with anything really

I think the point most are trying to get across with the "PC" comments is that people are too sensitive and need to lighten up
this has NOTHING to do with PC, literally nothing

When people say things like this, other people act like he murdered someone. Lighten up
I don't believe anyone is calling for his arrest.

If the police or agents of the DOJ show up to his apartment to arrest him for his comments, then you can say that people have overreacted.

What's hilarious is how y'all think he is a public enemy now cause he doesn't want to be tolerant toward gay football players.
I don't think I've said anything that would indicate I consider him a public enemy

I think there are some people in this discussion that don't like gay people and approve of Blue's comments and are veiling it by calling other people out for being against free speech.

But as far as I can tell, I have not shed a tear or called for his arrest. So I am neither a sissy nor a first amendment hater

He doesn't have to be tolerant of anything. That's fine. But he should at least understand the world we live in and understand that the comments you make have consequences

You stupid hick. I highlighted worry because you actually think these athletes are losing sleep over some possible closet figs lusting about their chiseled glistening body in the locker room. Dumbfrick.

I am one of the least serious people I know and I joke on this site all the time.

I don't understand how simply believing that what he said was ignorant and hateful and in poor taste, makes one a super serial freedom hater pansy

Did you know that once upon a time some white players had the same feelings towards black players in college and pro sports?

And at that time, racism was so engrained in society people were still drinking from separate water fountains. They are different issues at heart. Football is a macho, manly, and violent sport. That doesnt mean that homosexuals cant excel at football, because there surely have been plenty of homosexual players make it to the NFL (even if they were only kickers...sorry was that to insensitive? Only a joke). It's the perception (and most of the time reality) that homosexuals are associated with more feminine activities such as figure skating, hair styling, and interior design. By the same token, a 300 lb offensive lineman would get extremely weird looks if he would throw his personal opinion in on a conversation about whether mauve or violet was a better paint choice for a living room accent wall. So by Blue saying "So if you gay, we look at you as a sissy. You know? Like, how you going to say you can do what we do and you want a man?", he's right on. The general perception is that gays are feminine and would be terrible at any athletic event, much less football. It's not discriminatory like not wanting to play with a black player is just because of the color of his skin.

Definitely not. Reflect poorly in the university and Louisiana

2. this is America. he gave his opinion, dont chastise him. His opinion is likely the prevailing one, I promise you. I wouldn't say it and you may not have said it but I guarantee you, many feel that way.

He is intitled to his opinion and the right to say it. Just as we are all have the righ to point out he would be an a-hole if he actually treated a teammate thy way and that he has hateful views of gays.

No, you're the dumb arse. My comment didnot mean that in anyway you sorry frick. Learn to comprehend, it helps. Athletes worried about.... what a stupid frick.

and if you really don't think that if a athlete knew one of these guys was gay in the locker room with them and tried to come on to them or had feelings towards them, would not bother them. You are really stupid.

and the irony is that statistically, at some point in his life, be it in practice or a game, he probably got his bell rung by a closeted homosexual

The irony in this thread by people bashing other people for bashing Blue's right to say what he wants.

Blue can say what he wants but posters on TD cant bash him for it?

People say America is so intolerant and ignorant towards gays. Y'all need to look outside the box a little. Gays are killed and beaten across the world when they are found out to be gay. Here all you get is someone saying means things. At least here we prosecute people who are violent towards gays. Not saying its ok to rip people but we are much more tolerant than the vast majority of the world.

The irony coming from the resident homophobes in this thread is ASTOUNDING.
