The idea of not having a Bama vs LSU game is terrible. Loved those games.

not playing any of Alabama, Florida, or Auburn every season is pretty lame.
This complaint is weak. We still play them every other year, odds are every season we'll one or two of Bama, Florida, or Auburn on our schedule.

This. If you're from a Louisiana oilfield family and grew up in the 80s, you still hate the aggies. There was always some east TX dork with a big hat talking trash and pissing my old man off before the atm game.

When will the rest of the opponents for '26 be announced?

If we assume that the only repeat opponents next year are the three annual opponents, that gives the Tigers five of these six next year: Texas, Missouri, Miss. St., Auburn, Kentucky, and Georgia.

Also - Who gets five home games next year, and who gets only four? Other than UT/OU, are there any other permanents that are or could be playing at "neutral" sites?

Try to think of it more as variety. One year we will get Bama / Texas / Tenn / Miss State and the next year we’ll have Auburn / Florida / OU / Georgia. It is about to become a real meat grinder. Every game will be huge - better than bowl games.

The odds of any given player playing in a game between these teams home and away is low. These games have made being a Tiger fan what it is. I don’t see this complaint as week at all.

I mean seriously, we have one other charter member as a permanent opponent, that’s a massive change from where we were just a few years ago.

Yeah I don’t want to complain too loud, the SEC is what it is and this isn’t the worst draw.

People forget that LSU is an A&M school just like Texas A&M.

So in 2027 we'll play Oklahoma, Missouri, A&M and Vandy but we don't play Alabama, Auburn, State or Florida?

Arkansas: Absolutely, want to play them every year. While it's been one sided as of late it is a real rivalry.

Ole Miss: Acceptable, would rather play Florida every year, especially if they ever get good again

Texas A&M: Meh, underwhelming and uninspiring, should be Alabama, Auburn, or Mississippi State

LSU got a gift. No Big 6 schools.

Agreed it’s a good 3 for annual. We still have 6 other games, we will still be playing Bama, Auburn, Florida, etc but it just won’t be every year. I’m good with this. A 9 game SEC schedule is always gonna get strength of schedule score. Lets geaux.
