Morning gents — planning a trip down for the LSU/Bama game and wanted to get some ticket advice.

In the past, it seemed like the move was to wait until the day before or day of the game and grab tickets off StubHub. I know this year may be a little different with Kiffin and it being Alabama.

Do y’all think there will still be decent inventory available the day before/day of, or is this one of those games where we should just bite the bullet and buy early even if the seats aren’t great? Figure worst case I can probably find someone with tickets at Chimes the night before?

That game is in November, if we are undefeated and a night game, it will be tough. If we have 2 losses and it is a day game, it will be easy. That being said, worst case scenario if you are looking for 2 or less and you feel like putting some work in on game day, you will be able to find a pair for face value at the stadium. (if we have multiple losses, tix will be $20)

This all depends on how each team is doing at that point. There’s no way to really know. In 2022, I got two lower bowl tickets in the SEZ for $115 each the morning of. But I was constantly refreshing the entire time for new stuff to pop up.

In 2024 you could get face value tickets if you were patient...if both teams are fighting for a playoff spot come November, may not be so easy.

If you’re planning a trip from out of town, then I’d personally get the tickets before. I’d start looking at pricing/availability in October (game is on 11/7). I wouldn’t buy sooner than that unless you find a great deal

I’ve personally never had issues with Stubhub, but would recommend SeatGeek instead as they are the official marketplace for LSU tickets.

It’s who LSU has a direct relationship with, so there is a little more peace of mind there, at least for me.

Yeah that's kind of what I was thinking. I'm just thinking back to the LSU/Florida game last season. We spent like $300/ea on 615 level tickets, then the day of, there were some front row tickets available for like $150 lol

Probably a safer bet to buy them ahead of time. I appreciate all of the responses gents

I tend to wait until gameday to buy because it’s normally a fire sale. Wait until October and you’ll have a better idea of where both teams are and price of ticket.

Most teams have shifted to mobile tickets, so don’t fall for some a-hole with paper tickets. Seatgeek is usually the easiest. You can buy on other third party sites, but it will usually force you back through Seatgeek to transfer.

Man I did the paper tickets last season on accident and it was very stressful. I forgot which service I bought them through, but they were saying they'll arrive a day or two before gameday- which was very sketchy.

Yes, Seat Geek and others will have tickets at an elevated price, or you can purchase from a scalper outside of the stadium.

I’ve never not gotten tickets the day of a game. Not saying it’s easy, but I think it’s doable.

Really all that needs to be said but I'll add the fact that if you're looking for 2 or less tickets it's always worth waiting to buy as close to kick off as you can regardless of the game's stature. It's easier said than done but I've never had an issue.

Even if we are undefeated, lower bowl tickets will be less than $300 the morning of the game. SeatGeek will have better prices and bigger selection for LSU games.

Thanks man, that's very good to know. Section 615 wasn't horrible last time, but it would be nice to get out of the 600 section in general for this game.

No way you get a decent ticket for face value (I'm guess face will be $125) on game day if we are 1-2 losses at the time. Still in hunt for CFP at that level and always tough tix for Bama when we are playing well.
