LSU getting screwed over in regards to the amount of non-nosebleed seats they received for the game in Dallas.

Did Oregon get the better seats? If not, stop whining.

The majority if the seats in the stadium are uppers. Look at the map the poster LSU provided.

OP...I share the same thoughts...only I don't know enough about specifics to know who to blame.

Clearly many LSU season tix holders were duped into believing they had a great shot at preferred seating.

As it turned out...very few were able to get non-nosebleeds.

This will be my first and last trip to Jerryworld.

I fail to see what the ticket fiasco is. Every season ticket holder got at least a portion of what they requested.

So you dont see a problem with someone getting ONE f'ing ticket? WTF do you do with one? GO to Dallas with your wife and leave her in the hotel room? (that might be a good idea though)

Or bring her and buy an extra ticke there and sit apart? (that also is starting to sound ok)

Seriously, it is a frickshow for that to happen!

this does not seem to be any different than any other hard to get tix...i will say the allotment formula is not as transparent as people would like though...this is a big game with Jerry understanding the business implications...as he usually does....

Well then both fan bases got screwed. Seriously, if what I'm asking for is so much, why were more than enough premium tickets available(lot smaller stadium) to the schools last year for the game in Atlanta? I understand with the demand everyone couldn't get premium seats, but come on, if you have people in the 2K level of TAF bitching, somethings wrong.

But the minimum should be 2 tickets if asked for. It makes NO sense getting one ticket and not getting to sit by a friend or family.

Its just dumb, no, check that, its a fricking disgrace and ignorant at best.

Who got the premium tickets for the OR game?

What's the bitching/2K level ratio?

I definitely agree with that.

Does anyone have an official seating chart which illustrates which seats were allotted to Oregon, which were assigned to Oregon, and which were reserved for the public?

It seems like for the most part Cowboys season ticket holders.

Well I haven't taken a formal poll, but I know for the most part people in this level didn't even have the opportunity to sit in this stratosphere.

It makes perfect sense then.

Look, I get your frustration, but I also see Jones' strategy as well. It makes sense, then, for there to be less premium tickets available in Cowboy Stadium, compared to the GA Dome, for the simple fact of who owns the stadium. Jerry is going to want to keep HIS season ticket holders happy, as well as provide some premium seats to each school. The Georgia World Congress Center Authority either wasn't smart enough to think about it, or, since it's a state owned entity, they are prohibited from offering up the tickets to season ticket holders for some reason.

Look, this is a destination game...go eat some brisket, let the wife do some shopping, and enjoy the stadium.

LSU will get exactly what they wanted to get out of this - some face time in the Dallas area for recruiting, and some a shite-ton of national exposure. If we win, then the attention is magnified.

Who received one ticket? This is the breakdown I received in my email.

Ticket Quantity Limitations by Ranking
Ranking Maximum Number of Tickets
1-100 16
101-250 12
251-750 8
751-3500 6
3501-6570 4
6571+ 2

And I don't see how anyone was "duped" thinking they would get better seats. The process was pretty clear in the article that was released when the tickets went on sale.

I'm so sick of the greed and not being straight up with LSU fans. It seems like every time a big game happens, LSU finds a way to:
A. F it up
B. Screw the fans over
C. Collect profit
D. Go run and hide in their offices of the athletic administration bldg with nothing to say

This has been the case since the 2002 Sugar Bowl.

Not all LSU fans got screwed, just the ones that are too cheap to buy good seats

We were led to believe, by LSU, that we had reasonable chances at the higher dollar tickets. Not until the seat map was released this week, were we aware that Jerry's kids got to retain most of the good seats. Seats we were led to believe were in play. When LSU crowed about getting extra tickets, they should have straight up said they were all nosebleeds. Imagine the BCSCG in the Dome this year, and telling fans of the two teams that all the primo seats were allocated to Saints season ticket holders, and that they are free to go to Stubhub and pay through the arse to get decent seats. Basically what happened here, and what many are incensed about is that we traded our good seats in Tiger Stadium for a home game we won't have for crappy arse seats in Jerryworld. I, for one, am done with these early road trips. At least when I go to away SEC games I know I am getting screwed on seats going in. And I didn't trade a home game for it.

Pay the 300 go to the game, you will have a blast! Don't bitch about the money, have fewer kids then you could make a few more games.
