I do believe that was the best option for waters there. Wouldn’t lay into him at all as the coach

I mean...

I love that but frick. It wasn't bad because Weatherspoon had no idea he was behind him and was selling out for Tre, and you don't want Marlon to touch the ball and dribble...but DAMN!

Sidenote: Anyone else think Marlon has awful hands? I feel like he drops so many of those

Yeah that was a flashy lob but it honestly seemed like the best alternative to maybe backing it out. Unless you’re counting on a foul call on the road.

Waters can freaking do anything or draw a foul and get two easy ones. A backboard pass was not his best option.
