Makes no sense to run their game the entire time, non stop pace against a small team when we have size. If you were going to run that pace, you should have started pressing them or trapping way sooner. Idk why we ran ourselves to death and out of the game. Coaching failure.

We missed 50 shots. We went 30-80 from the field. Can't imagine we had a worst shooting game all year. Basically the opposite of last year's NC game.

HVL is a HUGE reason why LSU lost this game. She's played like azz all tournament! Williams was never gonna be a major factor this late in the season, she's a freshman. But LSU absolutely needed a better performance from HVL. She had crazy turnovers, poor offensive performance, and even worse defense. She didn't have to shut CC down but she did need to stay in front of her and deny her the ball some. CC did absolutely whatever she wanted and collapsed the defense by constantly beating HVL off the dribble at will. Go back and rewatch all the times the defense had to help after CC consistently beat HVL EASILY off the dribble. HVL plays hard but in the end...she just wasn't nearly good enough defensively and has been the weak link on this team on defense ALL SEASON!!!!

Morrow and HVL had their worst games of the year. And we got next to nothing from Williams. Tough loss, but there was no winning given those factors

For all the crying going on in here…LSU shot more free throws and the fouls are just separated by 3. Iowa was CLEARLY the better team. Officiating didn’t cost LSU shite…

Williams is going to have to develop a killer instinct to become the star next year. Flau’jae will help her along, but Williams needs to hit another level.
