LSU pitching and the inability to for LSU batters to close it out. Got to put away teams. Those are the turning points.
our hitting has improved a lot recently. Our best current starting pitcher gave 4 free bases in the first inning and 2 runs after starting with a 2 run cushion. The reliever that allot of people said we should've saved gave up back to back homers. Then Guidry missed on one pitch and it cost us.

We are what we are. One of the worst pitching teams in the country.

Thanks for sharing the pain with me, JML. I appreciate you doing this even when it can be demoralizing.

You can give up 15 runs and strike out the side. That means every out recorded was a strikeout in that inning, not that it was a clean inning.

Lets say for a moment he didnt. This is happened way to much this season in huge situations where pitches are being piped. Maybe only a pitching coach would understand. Its gone on all season and never corrected? I think not.

Explain how you correct a pitchers accuracy mid season.
Please be specific.

Yeskie called a pipe shot on that pitch and several ones all season.

Again... is he also calling for the pitchers to walk all the batters this year or do you think the pitcher is missing his spots?

Go back and re-read my post before calling someone out. Giving up 2 HRs is not usual and your response only proved that. Instead of trying to insult folks how about you read the post thoroughly.

My apologies, by the way. I was reading so many freakin' negative comments at the time that my mind tricked me into seeing, 'not unusual'. So, I stand corrected and offer my apologies, sir.

Not sure the name but the guy is always in baseball threads saying this. He said he's playing with a torn labrum all year and is promised 700k+ to stay next year. Just the labrum injury sounds fishy to me.

If it's his hip, maybe. He runs like Fred Sanford and seems like he's limping all the time. No way it's his shoulder with the throws he makes and how flexible he is with his glove.

I would think it would take a significant degree of pain tolerance, regardless.

I don't know what he is calling for but a Yeskie mound visit usually means pithcher collapse is coming.

Are you serious?? Maybe don’t call other people idiots if you’re going to post something like this.

“Milam is coming back, has a 700k nil offer and most don't know but he has a torn labrum that he's playing through. I get downvoted every time I say this in a post. His roommate is a pitching coach at my son's travel ball organization.”

“I said this in game thread last night and got downvoted but all will see. One of his roommates gives pitching lessons at my oldest son's travel ball organization. Milam has a torn labrum and is playing through the pain and getting shots. He is 100% coming back next season and I was told he's getting 700k for next season.”

All good. I too am tired of consistent negativity comments about the team and players.

Brother, mound visits don't happen when a pitcher is out there dealing. It's when someone is already struggling and you're trying to calm the pitcher down.

That's certainly the case with the bullpen. LSU has the worst relief staff, by far in the SEC. You see other teams like Georgia and Miss. State get their starters rocked after 3-4 innings and then go to the pen and shut down the Tigers for the rest of the game. LSU starters generally are good for 4 or 5 innings; when they come out it's all she wrote. Guidry immediately walks a batter, then hits a batter, before being torched for a three-run blast. It just continues

Wrong place bro. You ask this board, it was the end in February when we lost to Mcneese

We must win one game vs Georgia, and then likely have to sweep Florida at home. Or win 5 games in the SEC tourney.

In other words, the outlook is bleak.
