I'm watching, but very few people care about the NIT. They did beat UK in dramatic fashion at home this year.
Huge move of the goalposts there. Oh cool, they beat Kentucky. Kentucky is a high seed in the real tournament.
The poster said any time LSU has a chance to draw a big crowd, "Mcloser" pisses it away. As I said, very few people give a shite about the NIT. Do you know how to comprehend what you're reading? And I just simply stated that LSU did beat Kentucky in dramatic fashion at home.
LSU is getting physically manhandled by a crappy team tonight so far, but what I said remains true.

I don’t know where you guys all stand on this program but here’s my take. The team took steps toward improving this year from last year and I was okay with the progress and looking to see what McMahon could put together for next year.
But the last 2 plus weeks have negated that. The whole mystery with Jalen Cook, the almost blown lead to Missouri, the collapse in the second half against Moo State in the SEC tourney and if we lose this game at home to a shitty team from a lesser conference while looking like shite in the process, it will sour me completely on McMahon and his ability to succeed here.

This feels like one of those games Trae is going to be a scorer, which I feel isn’t what LSU needs…let’s see…

How many pernts do I get knowing I'll watch ever last minute of this mess?
Posted on 3/19/24 at 6:44 pm to Rjlebla
Eh, nothing that happens in the NIT matters.
This is basically practice.
Next year is the make it or break it year.

He's just not a good coach. It just is what it is at this point. Thanks to him for taking over our program on a difficult spot, though.

They should give you free Cane's for life.
I think I'm going to put this on the laptop and put baseball on the TV.

The same whiny tits who said they weren't going to watch and the NIT doesn't matter showed up to bitch about something they don't care about.
Posted on 3/19/24 at 6:46 pm to saint tiger225
Fwiw I think this is how the first matchup went.

Should call the NIT the MIT. Mid invitational Tournament.

Roped me in with the first paragraph. The cook issue was clearly something they dealt with & won in spite of all year.
A loss in the SEC tournament & NIT doesn’t negate the improvement from last season, but I know this board has goldfish memory.
I’m more interested to see how next year’s roster shakes out than anything else.

I don't know why you're responding to me with that message. I'll always watch, but I'll call it how I see it. Sorry that hurts your feelings and you feel the need to take it out on someone.

Terrible reffing and sloppy play. Hopefully we can clean it up in the second half.
shite on the team all you want but I’m glad to be here. Wouldn’t miss any game

I still think we pull this one out, but either way this season has been a success. Nobody wants to face this team next year.

Like meaningless bowls, the NIT is about building some momentum and getting some young players experience. I think the team would have been better served traveling to a better tournament environment though. This is the worst crowd all season.

Terrible musical chairs. What happened to making them make a layup?
