Great end to the half. Double digit lead and advantage in fouls.

Not to complain, but waters jacked up that half court shot with 2 seconds left...I mean c'mon man, go further in

I didn't want to bitch...but waters can fly. I've seen players run from baseline to baseline in 4.5 seconds. He EASILY could have gotten within 6-7 feet of the 3 point line

There are more LSU fans in Houston than any city on the globe. Disappointed at the LSU turnout in the half-empty arena.

It's also REALLY HARD to jack up a 3 coming in at a dead sprint. I would have liked him to get closer but it's really a non issue for me

No way Waters has not practiced running in transition, stopping, and shooting 1,000 times...actually, 10,000 times

Maybe after those 10,000 times he knows what's a higher percentage shot for him?

I don't know. Maybe the kid wasn't aware of the time and fricked up. Maybe he knew exactly what was going on and chose the shot he felt more comfortable with.

At the end of the day that shot isn't going to cost us or win us the game. It's a non issue

Then stop commenting. I was responding to Thunderbird, agreeing with him. 3 seconds and we shot the ball with 1.8 seconds. It's a "non-issue", but there is always a world that exists called "What If." What if he had dribbled 2 more times and drained a 3 to be up 13 and we win by 2 points? I'm not saying it's a huge issue, but I'm saying he could have gotten a higher percentage shot and we don't know what will or will not matter at the end

I usually wait till after the first half to chime in. Very good first half for our Tigers, fouls could start to creep up in the second half so that is something to watch out for. Javonte gets better and better each game and is like a bruiser at running back, the more carries he gets the stronger he is, Javonte needs volume touches. Very very impressed with how Brooks and Davis have been bottled up by our guys, by far our best defensive performance of the night. They both average 16.5 and have scored 4 and 0 respectively. Marlon Taylor will be a key sub the rest of the way he looks into it on both ends and fresh.
