Not that it matters but I didn't think this was flagrant, looked accidental to me.

Don't think it has anything to do with being accidental or unintentional. Robinson's flagrant foul was accidental. He was making a basketball move and elbowed the defender in the face. Is there really a difference between an accidental elbow and an accidental slap? Both were hard contact to the face and drew blood.

I don't think the refs wanted to make that call in a critical point in the game. Just happy it didn't affect the outcome.

which means its not a flagrant 2. It was still without a doubt a flagrant 1.

As sloppy as they were with the ball, I can't believe they won. That said, it was a great win. WVU is a solid team.

Josh Gray either looks like Torris Bright or Tack Minor depending on the possession. You never know which one you're going to get. It's maddening.

Very apt description. Right now he's probably averaging close to a 1:1 Asst to TO ratio. That's not good. However, in an offense that tends to be very stagnant in the half court at times his ability to make a play on his own for either himself or his teammates is vital to this team's success.

One of the biggest issues with this team is situational awareness. A big reason for the 24 TOs was not knowing when to attack and when to slow down just a bit. This team is clearly at their best when they can get out and run. Jones has to find a way rein in Gray just a bit but at the same time not limit his aggressiveness.

Exactly. I love when we run and make people pay for the press. But when they press it seems they want to run EVERY SINGLE possession. Just a little bit more awareness of when you have the defense beat and when it's best just to pull it out would go a long way for Gray.

Martin too. Whenever Gray or TQ would get trapped and they passed it back to Martin he was like a locomotive going down the middle of the court. Which is fine if you have numbers, but he did it regardless.

Great win for this team. It gives me a lot of hope going forward and may very well provide that little extra boost to the resume at the end of the season.

The pace that WVU played was a big reason I thought this was a good matchup for LSU going into the game. The way to beat LSU is not by making them run the floor. The strength of this team is having multiple guys who can attack the basket as well as handle the basketball. The bad thing is that outside of Ark. there probably isn't going to be a team that LSU plays the rest of the year that wants to play uptempo more than them.

Executing offensively and defensive rebounding will help them to force teams into that style of play, just as WVU thought they wanted to do last night. In retrospect, WVU's style is what allowed the Tigers to come back, as you said.

TQ could play PG when Simmons gets here actually. IMO Simmons should initiate the offense; hence, TQ can simply guard the PG and bring the ball down court for us.
Once he passes to Simmons, we could just have the rest of the guys being shooters whereas spacing the floor and spotting up for the 3

I'm so glad people are seeing the light on Quarterman.

Couldn't believe I got smashed for posting how good he was recently. It's like, did people not watch Collis Temple III play? He's a shining beacon of light for any kid that's long and athletic enough to D up guards while having the ability to handle the rock.

There's a place for you in the pro's.

WVU fans took the loss pretty hard.

The comments are pretty hilarious but also pretty tame compared to how this board read during the game.

Sweatsuit!! That's funny. Huggy Bear makes Brady seem likable by comparison.
