It’s pitches more than anything. He’s been 100+ pitches for at least a couple weeks in a row and his velo was down a touch tonight

There was a thread earlier today explaining it
I believe in that thread the takeaway I got was it wouldn't be fair for the teams playing FRI-SUN to have to get 3 in if you allowed 4 days for those teams who began on THURSDAY so to keep all things even... at least that's what I got

There's gotta be a better way. 12 teams have the ability to play 3 games in 4 days this weekend, so if necessary, let them do it.
The SEC says it's for TV and fairness for those who start a series on Fridays, but at this point, it's about the athletes and getting a 3game series in.
