I’m not opposed to defensive shifts, but are we using fake data to determine defensive positioning?

If we would just play double play depth like baseball teams have done for 150 years, both the ball to Thompson and Dugas would have been right at them.

Whoever is in charge of our shift alignment should just retire. You can’t purposely be out of position as much as we are

Problem with shifting in college is pitchers aren’t typically good enough to induce balls into the shift.

I don’t mind the shift since it’s a numbers game but our unlucky streak on them has been insane.

I’d rather watch the other team chop singles than LSU walk them over and over. Those balls in play will eventually find fielders.
