If it’s the 9th, I can understand the move.

I don’t like Jay pitch running for Travinski there. Now his bat is out of the lineup.

In a 1-1 game in 7th its the right call, there's quite few singles Travinski wouldnt score on necessarily. Brown scores on most singles by comparison.

Brown also is doing really well at the plate if he has to come back around and hit. He's 9 for 27 on the season.

Thought the same. Travinski could have batted again in the 9th. He was 5 for 10 over the weekend. Seems more likely he could change the game in the 9th than the slight difference by him and brown with two outs.

12 games in we gonna panic over our bats? The thing JJ does extremely well

Not panicking over anything. I'm simply saying this team is going to have night’s like this. That's all.

Every team has nights like this in baseball. If this is consistently happening in a month and half I’ll be worried about our bats

This is our 13th game. Last year through 13 games:

5 runs vs Western Mich
4 runs vs Iowa (everyone melted)
3 runs vs Texas

Did you bitch then?

This game is a reminder that LSU doesn't play well when it rains in SD. Must be something connected to Jay Johnson.
