Did Jobert really have a wide open left side with runners on 2nd and 3rd and not try to slap one through there?

I mean hell that guy was basically playing a shallow right field

Hit it the other way and they will quit shifting.

Some day bunting and looking to hit away from the shift, which may go against your tendencies, will happen for some of these guys. Everyone wants to hit it as hard as they can not matter what. Morgan is an example of a hitter that can adjust.

Maybe try to bunt to the left side? IDK exactly where the 3rd baseman was playing, but that could have been a free run with the shift.
However, I don't fault LSU for wanting Jobert to break the game open.

Okay I changed my mind ban the shift

When are you going to stop bitching about the shift? If you want the defense to stop doing it, learn to hit it the other way.

If positions can be on a score card then they can be regulated

I don’t know why he doesn’t just shift his feet and slap anything close to the strike zone down the left side. It’s a guaranteed double every time.

Really hate the shift
It’s not like they’re playing with 10 guys out there.
