Shores through 5 innings has given up 3 hits, 1 run, 4 BBs, 4 Ks, 21 BFs, 3 FOs, 7 GOs, 1 GDP, 85 TPs, 50 STs,
Witherspoon through 5 innings has given up 4 hits, 3 runs, 3 BBs, 3 Ks, 23 BFs, 2 2Bs, 2 XBHs, 3 FOs, 9 GOs, 83 TPs, 51 STs,
I suspect this will be my last update of the starting pitcher's stats because I suspect SHores is done now.

You could tell on that 2-1 pitch he pulled off of it early. He’s not letting the ball travel. Needs to focus on hitting line drives to the opposite field. And of course pulling off of it like that, he had no chance on that 2-2 curve ball.
He’s just not seeing it well right now and isn’t very confident. He’ll break out of it before too long. He’s too good not to.
