I would put some of it on special teams, offensive play calling, and a little on prep for the Reed offense. The Reed offense change was kind of a massive adjustment/curve ball. I can kind of understand it being hard to prepare for both in one week.
If we put more points on the board with special teams it makes it more difficult to utilize run play calls in the second half. Keeping the game close kept their entire playbook open.
