LSU gets to play all their tough SEC opponents at home next year and also gets one of the two out of conference games at home (USC, UCLA) in UCLA.

Alabama, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, UCLA ALL AT HOME

Oh boy. What a year it’s going to be for Tiger Stadium.

. If the team performs
as poorly as some believe due to continued bad/horrific defense and there is substantial offensive production drop off ( there most definitely will be) it could be a very forgettable year.

Why the frick do you people even follow lsu? You’re already bou-daeing about next years fantastic home slate while we have a heisman front runner playing qb with 3 games left this year. I mean, just log off and find something new. You are pathetic. Why would you choose to live in a life of such misery?

So for some reason you think it’s a foregone conclusion that a great offense will decline, but a bad defense will not improve?

How do you get out of bed every morning?

I don’t think it’s unrealistic to expect an offensive downturn. What does this year look like without Jayden, Malik, and BTJ? 2 more losses maybe? I’d love to see the defense do a complete 180, what confidence do you have in that?
Will I enjoy the season regardless? Absolutely. But there are legit concerns.

Some won't like it because they would rather see LSU play a bunch of games against weak opponents (a la Michigan) to give them a better chance of an undefeated season. Me, I love the possibility of next year's schedule because at the end of the day, LSU football is simply just entertainment to me. Playing good teams is FAR more entertaining than watching LSU play the likes of Georgia St, or Grambling, etc.

My hope is that the 12 team playoff will start to remove more and more of the "buy" games from the schedule. I completely understand why the coaches/players want a few of them. But from a fan's perspective, give me games every day vs. USC and UCLA instead of games vs. UNLV, Grambling, Middle Tennessee, et al

LSU has a game this week and NO ONE is talking about it, or is excited for the game outside of Daniels' Heisman chances. With only 2 weeks of college football left I don't want to be bored by watching LSU play an overmatched opponent

3-1 during this stretch would be ideal

Vegas is actually a fun neutral site, Orlando/NOLA was pointless though. Would rather that FSU series be a home and home.

We will be favored in every game, maybe even a TD

USC and UCLA will both suck

Yeah it could get ugly if the defense isn’t light years better.

Nuss could have a great year as a first time starter but with all the offensive players we are likely to lose, the offense can’t help but take a big step back.

The real question is: who's replacing Caleb for USC? Both teams are replacing Heisman candidates. I need an opening win in 2024, tired of going 0-1 the past few years

USC will turnover half their roster with a new DC and UCLA is gonna finish 6-6. We have no business losing to either

It’s year 3 for Kelly. 10 wins is the floor. Everyone returns for LSU

Daniels doesn't. Are you that confident in Nussmeier?

UCLA isn’t as tough of a game as we think it’ll be. They’re rumored to be firing Chip Kelly.

USC neutral will be interesting but they’ll have no Williams and a new DC.

Oklahoma is a good opponent but they’re not really difficult like a Bama or Georgia would be. If the OU game was in Norman I wouldn’t feel as good about it.

It’ll be a fun season looking forward to one less cupcake on the schedule. Bring it on. Iron sharpens iron.

OU returns 20 starters and will have number 1 QB in the 23 class starting.

It won’t be a layup
