Who are our 6'9" 4 and 5? JOB is one but who's the other?

Del Piero shoots layups like a 12 year old girl who rides the bench for her middle school team. Can't wait to watch him go up against Nerlins Noel.

Two or three games better than last year but much more fun to watch. Depends on how well the three's fall and JOB stays out of foul trouble.
Lineup if we play right now:
Hickey - PG
Hammink - SG
Coleman - SF
Ludwig - PF
JOB - C
The traditional designations won't apply much with this lineup. JOB won't play a traditional center on offense and will still take a lot of jumpers. Ludwig will probably try to guard the other team's center to keep Johnny out of foul trouble. Hammink will be as much a point guard as a shooter and Hickey will get more open looks for his jumper.

I don't know what Courtney is listed as, but I can tell you that he isn't anywhere close to 6'9'' in real life.

Johnny needs to sell a possible starting job to some big men. There's got to be somebody out there to play the 5 and let JOB play his natural 4.
If we don't get at least one more big guy that can rebound and defend, we had better play a spread, fast-breaking style on offense and some kind of halfcourt trapping defense or it will be very tough to compete.

Hammink won't start over turner

I don't understand why people always want to put Turner at the two when he has the skill set of a three. He's a catch and shoot guy with limited ball handling and slashing ability. His game is taylor made for the three spot where he can get wide open looks from the corners when his defender offers weakside help.
Conversely, you have a guy like Hammink who can break down defenders off the dribble, from what I've seen is a very promising passer, and at 6"6 can get good looks against the shotclock. I know Turner is our most experienced returning wing, but to me this is a no-brainer. Start Hammink at the two and I think Coleman benefits tremendously with his ability to get to the rim. If you start Turner, we become stagnant with two threes on the court at the same time.
IMO Hickey, Hammink, Coleman, O'Bryant and hopefully Odoh are your starters with Turner, Morgan, Stringer, Courtney and Ludwig off the bench, pretty much in that order unless we end up with two bigs in this class, which would be fantastic. That my friends, is a tournament team.

coleman can defend the 2 leaving turner in the 3 spot, coleman is much more athletic than turner

I don't like the idea of Stringer running the point. I can see Hammink coming off the bench for hickey and turner which ever one needs rest or isn't playing well.

I still expect Jones to pull a big from somewhere. If not, I expect us to play a small lineup similar to Missouri's from last year.
