The home plate ump is making it impossible for LSU to win. That bullshite 8 inches off the plate strike call is criminal, and it is one-sided.

If I had to guess it was because he wanted Frey to hit and wanted to keep Brown in the lineup. Frey was up to bat when the inning ended so would have been burned if he had done that. Which is close to what you were saying but not the same. He wanted Frey to bat. Not that he didn't want Brasswell to bat.
If that makes sense.
