He's also 21 and has thrown more than 130 college innings. They talking about him like he's a freshman who's never pitched against the big boys, when in reality he's basically Nate Ackenhausen throwing a good 4 innings.

Milam's AB was ok. Didn't get on, but saw about 8 pitches. But Brown and Hernandez were booty cheek.

getting 1 this weekend is an acceptable outcome. not ideal but the goal was always to avoid the sweep.

Have we tried to throw a 97 chin high yet? Idk maybe that's an option?

HE CAN’T command it and hasn’t all season. His up pitches are not competitive and he has ZERO movement on 97. I don’t give a shite about 97 when there isn’t movement. Give me 93 with command all day and command of 3 fricking pitches.

No doubt, we haven’t helped ourselves either though. Constantly living in hitter counts, walks, and throwing shite center cut.

This is hard to watch. Absolute zero fight, guys chasing bad pitches, not seeing the plate well, shores can’t get guys out.

Aside from Anderson and Cowan, I haven’t been impressed by any pitcher on this staff.

Maybe we are just not as good as advertised.

We started off like this against Kansas St and Nebraska. Ended up turning it on late in both games

That is not even remotely close to being accurate. And if that was the case then we have no business being in the top 10. Winning on the Road is hard but you don’t go in hoping to just avoid a sweep. Smh

Brown needs to permanently sit

He's one of our best players . He can hit for average and power, he can run and has a good arm . He needs to be in the lineup everyday

Nah. That's a loser mentality.

I don't know if this is a Yeskie thing, because he calls it all the time for other guys, but Shores NEVER elevates fastballs in 0-2/1-2 counts. Always tries to bury everything. Seems like 98 with run at your eyes is a good 2 strike pitch.
