I usually defend Jay and defer to a coach that won a NC last year, but yeah, I'm not sure what he was thinking earlier.

I mean UNC has been better all year. This is honestly how it was supposed to go. If we are gonna do this, it’s very likely through the losers bracket. And I have a weird confidence that we can do that.

Larson catches a fly ball it’s 4-2 right now.

North Carolina’s pitching isn’t all that good. Our only way out of the losers bracket is out slugging them like we did in the SEC tournament.

Unfortunately, UNC doesn’t kick the ball around like their southern neighbors

Lsu didn’t make the plays on defense or get the runners in when they were in scoring position. NC did, that’s the difference

From a “stuff” perspective, they haven't impressed me. I just don't see LSU’s lineup going blow for blow with theirs.

We got more than enough hits, walks and hit batters to be competitive in this game. We just didn’t cash in with RISP.

No disagreement. But this isn’t an “overachieving” team

This team is unbelievably underachieving with 13 sec wins

LSU has to play better defense if they don't figure it back out at the plate.

Half (or more) of the runs in this regional have come after LSU either screwed up a play or just didn't make the defensive play other teams have made.

Bingham dropped the ball on a running catch yesterday, then Wofford made us pay for it.
Jones couldn't make a play at 1B leading to a double, and then the 3-run HR.
Larson did.... whatever he did in LF this inning...

That line drive to Jones - which he failed to handle - was the beginning of the end

You sound happy for some reason. Hmmm.

You do know if we lose this game, we still get to play again?

Maybe not.
