You might as well add "then LSU goes out and kicks the butt of the Super Bowl champions."
Almost every LSU fan wants the team to win it all, but the over-the-top preseason hype is pretty ridiculous.

Feel free to try to refute the fact that LSU hasn’t competed for anything significant since Studrawa (man blocking OL coach) left for Ohio St and hasn’t really had elite OL since Collins and Turner left

Since 1934, do you know how many times we've gone undefeated in the regular season? Twice (1958 and 2011).
And only once have we gone undefeated through the regular season and the bowl game (1958).
So yea, let's try to go 15-0, but realize it's very, very, very hard to do that.

It is quite sad that the thought of a perfect season with a team with no glaring holes has 2 downvotes for every upvote. I agree the OP is optimistic and that I myself have expectations of a regular season loss and a CFB playoff appearance but not a national championship. But why such hatred from the fanbase for a fired up, optimistic post?
