I do NOT care how frustrating this team is, the 2-1 losses, the inability of the pitching staff to close out games, etc........ but the undeniable fact, and it may eventually prove to be obsolete in post season accomplishments, is that this team truly doesn’t quit when most would. Last night was different. 2-1 is completely different then being pounded and pounded and down 6-2 already down a game in the series and then saying naw we AINT folding, we aren’t done yet. And that’s a character trait that you cannot deny this team possesses. Really hope we can get most of this lineup back next year.
