Seems like there’s a lot more patience at the plate this season

Imagine your SS hitting a leadoff triple and then your Catcher hitting a smoked HR.

Think about it. Wow.

Every time I get up and do something else for a few minutes we score runs. I haven’t seen us score a single run this game and I in fact have no idea how any of them have scored. If it was a close game I believe I would be forced to not watch anymore.

Very early but if this improvement from Year 1 to Year 2 sticks/continues for Arrambide, even considering the level of competition so far, he could be on his way to being a top 10 pick.

We finally saw more of that late last year, but we really had some issues with guys pressing early and on into the midway point of SEC play. We do seem a lot more settled at the plate from the jump this year.

I would be on board for a huge crooked number this inning.

Cooking what is likely to be the last gumbo of the year. So I’ll likely have to get up again this inning to start the rice. Wouldn’t be surprised if I missed the next one.

Trademark of a Jay Johnson coached team. They’re always patient disciplined hitters by the end of the year. For them to have bought in this early is a damn good sign.
