Its is the right thing to do. Not happy about the time.

I hope Florida is paying attention. They may have another 2016 situation.

LSU & Missouri both have an open date Nov. 7th. What's the reason for moving location instead of moving the date?

On occasion, RARELY, I can actually agree with this. But there’s a reason “Saturday NIGHT in Death Valley” is such a revered phrase.

If we had our way, ALL of LSU’s games would be at night. It’s just different. Occasionally what you say is not crazy (I enjoyed the 11 AM Arkansas game in 2017), but we haven’t played a night game yet. We’re starving for it even though circumstances will neuter the experience significantly.

He's been on this site for 8 years. If he hasn't gotten it by now, he'll never get it.

The original reason that LSU plays nite games is back in late 50's, early 60's, LSU football was just taking off & attracting fans. All the plant workers along the river started complaining that, with their Sat. day shifts, they were not able to get to T.Stadium for the day games.Politics got involved & the LSU administration caved in quickly. WWL radio out of N.O. was the radio ESPN of the era & LSU nite games were heard across the country.

Seems the most likely networks for that time slot are ESPN2 (bumping Coastal Carolina @ ULL) or ESPNU (bumping ULM @ Liberty). Easy choice either way.

I completely understand and support the move to Mizzou. But why any earlier than 2:30?? At least give the Louisiana folks a little time to get their power back.

Why the hell would LSU give up a bye week before Bama

Hey dipshit there’s a hurricane coming

Thanks for the weather report Terry Burhans but the internet already told me. Now that we have that cleared up, perhaps we can address your reading comprehension. My comment had nothing to do with a hurricane. It was related to how I view LSU games in general in comparison to how the gentleman from Ann Arbor views Big 10 games.

Would rather play at noon at Missouri than play in Tiger Stadium in pouring rain. Playing wet is not to our advantage.

Do some of you not like the idea of knowing your team won and getting to watch all the other great games for rest of day?

Night games mean you can't watch the other games and be relaxed, since you are nervous about the lsu game.

this is basic stuff, dudes.

1. LSU football is a social culture event. Not just something to do on a Saturday for a few hours.

2. No. LSU is the ONLY great game on every Saturday. No matter the opponent. Everything else is just interesting filler before the main event.

3. Starting the day at 7/8am with a Gameday bloody mary then tailgating + cooking all day while socializing with family, friends (who are family), & visiting team fans is ALL part of the experience. It's not a RUSH to get up & get to campus in time for an 11am kickoff. Also, you can watch multiple games on the multiple screens at your tailgate.

4. The understanding of LSU culture is basic stuff, dude, to us. And it's really the best way to enjoy ALL of college football.
