LSU needs to play some offense or else It could turn into the kind of game that lamar could make a run at them.

We're not close to the level of any SEC team, other than Vandy. Similar to last year when only S Carolina was the bottom feeder of the SEC, and LSU slightly ahead of the Cocks.

That all changed when S Carolina thumped LSU on its home court. LSU isn't competitive even in a down season for the SEC, with powerhouses like Arkansas and Auburn struggling.

This team wins 6 SEC games. I know it’s not great, but it’s improvement. They have been spending the early season trying to find themselves against some decent power 5 teams. With Cook back in the fold it frees up a lot of guys to play a role they are more comfortable with.

It’s not where we want to be, but I think there will be some hope at the end of this season.

Reed has been atrocious last two games. Hopefully he can figure it out over the Christmas break

With Cook at beginning of the season this team may only have 1 loss. They play Much better, offense flows and they’ve actually stepped up the defensive intensity and are hitting the boards better especially offensive boards.

In your dreams.

We'll know early on if LSU is fit for SEC play this season-- Jan 9 vs Vandy in the PMAC. If LSU loses that game, they will likely lose all their SEC games

Lamar is in the bottom 50 of Div I defensive teams, so it's hard to take too much from this game. LSU forced 15 first-half TOs, and that was the difference in the game. Lamar only had 4 2nd half TOs and basically played LSU even.

They get Vandy 2x and UGA 2X. Split those and you are a 3rd of the way there. Steal one from A&M. Split with Arky like we typically do, and you have 4. You can grab 2 upsets out of the remaining 11 and you hit 6 wins. It’s doable.

This team has guys who can get hot and score at any time. Just trying to put it together. Last year’s team had KJ and nothing else. Zero scorers.

This game was very enjoyable. No Mwani or Trae, but you can see where McMahon gave other players to compete for time. Stewart really made his case.

There were signs of improvement tonight. I know it was only Lamar, but there were good things in the Tigers' play tonight. Very few turnovers and strong rebounding, and Cook looked confident in only his second game with the team.

Wright regressed. He threw up enough bricks from 3 to build the Pitti Palace.

We didn’t have a signature long scoring drought. Wright and ward combined for a 2-17 from three. We only shot 24% from 3 on the game, but still won by over 20. Cook doesn’t make us a Good team from what I can tell. But he does make us a more competent competitor.

41 percent from the field, 23 percent from the three and 64% from the line.

If we can’t figure out how to make shots we won’t go far
