How was H Dean not getting more minutes earlier?
Baker was playing well. Dean might even be good in Reed's spot in the rotation.

I thought they just did outdoor advertising. Didn’t realize they have a basketball team

Wright is a role player trying to be a star. You’re going to get some games like he had last week. Then you see going to get bad ones quickly after. He is what he is. You just have to try to quickly figure out when he is “on” and get him out when he’s not

Dean and Baker on the court at the same time is just dumb lol. Dean should take Baker’s spot, not anyone else

Nice to see LSU beating a bad team like they are a bad team and not playing down to their level.

Alt saw your post earlier today about Wright and its spot on.

Stewart is finally looking like the player we thought and CMM doesn't play him.

Nice to have Cook

To be fair he’s shooting sub 30% fg on the season. He really hasn’t looked great this year.

Thought you would be more in the spirit of giving watching Stewart thrive with Cook.

But if you think about it, is Dean any worse than Reed defending the 4? On offense Dean wouldn't be looked to for offense, but Reed has been inconsistent. Meanwhile Dean would punish an opposing 4 on the boards. So much so a coach might swap the 4 and 5 on Baker and Dean, which would open up Baker. That is enough for a "might even" eval for me.

Would love to know why he is sticking with baker instead of Dean!

Stewart’s playing well. Never said anything bad about him.

The point I was trying to make about Dean and Baker being on the court at the same time is that Dean solves the baker problem, and replacing reed with him does nothing to make up for why baker has issues on defense. Having baker and reed at the same time would give you two larger players that can switch on defense, rebound, and protect the paint. Baker is too slow and replacing Reed with Dean does nothing to solve that.

Offensively Dean could be asked to do more, he has ability he’s just barely had a chance to show it

I know we’re winning by a lot, but Baker making a mistake is usually the reason they’ve scored

SMU only beat Lamar 78-67, and SMU just beat Florida State 68-57. Lamar has had a had a couple of 23 point losses, but LSU is up by 28, so LSU may give them their biggest loss if this continues.
