UGA just had the number 1 qb in the nation from the class of 2016 transfer out......

They have a million 5 star qbs and rbs the past three years

Sort of understandable given they are all elite talent and all within around a year of each other.

Clemson just had a 5 star QB transfer out as well, either last year or this year?

He ain't transferring there to sit out one year. McNeese is in Division I football. JUCO is the most likely route then transfer back to a P5 conference.

Epic fail. He wouldn’t have to sit at McNeese. They’re FCS

I'm pretty sure he is gonna go Juco and then can go to a smaller school and play 3 additional years. I really can't see him ending up at another power 5 school if he couldn't beat out what we have on our roster

I would have preferred Brennan transfer.

Its a strange move from afar. I can't imagine it's much different up close unless the coaches led him to believe something different. But if he thought he was starting over burrow...lol

Well, since you asked. The Alabama QB and the Georgia QB actually played the last two years of high school. Their development was both much further along than LN. Who's the other QB you're referring to?

Very valid point as well.

Have a guy at st James who texted me to let me know this.

Kind of neutral about it. I think the kid had a chance to get some action this year, similar to how Florida used Tebow

He’s a great kid (have met him a few times) got some family things like a lot of others.

You can’t use the argument that he wasn’t gonna play any. There were packages designed for him.

He was beaten out in practice.

I don’t think it’s a “take your ball and go home deal” just more reading the writing on the wall. He probably won’t be the man here, and wants to give it another shot.

Good luck to him in the future.

Actually two totally different scenarios Burrow is a grad transfer and LN is a redshirt freshman.A redshirt freshman who will not even compete that's quitting but that what happens now parents raise quitters.

IKR, I realize it happens every off-season, but dang.. it's like we can't catch a decent break these past two weeks.

Ever since that one poster talked about how great the off-season was going.

To be fair though, we did get Burrow.. so that was a huge positive moment..

Now on to my mini rant (ignore the following)

Ensminger promoted (we shall see how it turns out though to be fair..) but we were expecting a currently successful OC hire.. (I won't count this as an L though)

I was all excited about the talk of getting Emery, then he committs to UGA, who already has a million 5 star rbs.. but I guess that doesn't matter..
Then we also had Ingram get suspended (or whatever)
Tyler Taylor get suspended and possibly removed from the team..
Now LN is leaving after it appears Burrow is named starter.. after many of us were getting excited at potentially seeing his talents on the field this season.. even if limited, it would have been really fun to look forward to..
Oh and of course Fulton getting denied.. that really would have been awesome.. now we may only get 1 actual season of Fulton.. if that. considering he will be eligible to go pro.

At least we did get Burrow. Really does make you wonder, what if Burrow didn't choose LSU.

If there is one thing I have learned is that if you don't look out for yourself, no one else will!

I disagree with your decision Lowell, but I respect it. You do what you believe is in your best interest and to hell with what anyone else says (myself included).

Good luck, young man.

I don’t see him going to Auburn. They have some other top-tier QBs on their roster.

All I know is that back in HS Mike Norvell and Larry Fedora really wanted him. Could see him ending up at one of those two schools.

Lowell and McMillan transfer, then we are low on depth and Brennan can't get the year he needs to develop.

Brennan can still play in 4 games without burning his redshirt. It'll be a little harder to do now but completely possible barring an injury to Burrow

NSU will take him. But he may have to start pronouncing his name right.

Watch this board crawfish to all frick all when he is starting for a rival after juco and is tearing up our arse. It was a business decision. Can’t blame him. I wouldn’t hang around either and expect to be truly developed by this staff.

What if I did know about the situation bruh? What if I told you that Lowell’s accuracy and understanding of the playbook haven’t improved at all in 2 years? What if I told you that he had lost nearly all of his athleticism because of the knee injuries and was clocked at 4.85 in the 40, slower than McMillan and barely faster than Burrow? What if told he is routinely the worst QB in scrimmages, practice, and 7on7? Maybe, just maybe the kid ain’t good enough to cut it here. Is that really that wild?

I hope you are right. But, from what I've seen, Narcisse was MUCH more comfortable in the pocket.

I'm not convinced Brennan will ever have the comfort level to be a quality QB.
