Again, because we saw him warm up, thus assuming he’s QB2. Not sure what was so controversial about that.

Both will play. That’s the smart thing. Whoever starts is irrelevant. If it were me, I prefer to get the second rotation snaps. I get to watch the defense and mistakes if the guy before me.

Can’t imagine why that is.

That narrative was pushed well before the Mizzou game.

It's been like that for a while.

The most ridiculous posters are the few who throw him in the same sentence with Harris & Jefferson.

With a limited playbook I'd rather see a QB who can run.

Yeah, not sure why half the rant is taking a victory lap over this. Some really fragile egos up in here.

It makes no sense. Not sure why there is a preference between two kids that have played zero snaps. I’m actually surprised that they are going with the less mobile guy.

well, in Mizzou game, Max was the one warming with Brennan got smoked.
logic tells you that at least at that moment, he was ahead.

in all fairness, neither does our coaching staff.

I hope Finley does great but I don’t know if it’s a good thing for him starting this early in his career.

In all fairness, if you actually think the dumbasses on here have a shred of the insight of the coaching staff, you need to be committed.

Lol Yeah, im sure you do...

If Finley was more of a dual threat/runner, you'd be claiming we need to stick with the pocket passer like Brennan because it fits our scheme.

Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Tommy Hodson, J R, on and on.

I'd rather have a QB who can see the field and hit his target.

Dumbasses for giving a prediction? Idk, but this seems a bit harsh.

Congrats to Finley though.

Pretty much everyone still assumes both will play right? Who knows.

Not everything in life revolves around race. So sick and tired of these assumptions. Sick of this shite.

Many assumed Max would start due to being more mobile with a struggling offensive line.. which actually goes against some stereotypes.. so that sort of makes your assumption a little off.

Why can't we just be happy for Finley and not go here?

That's not true. Especially not any more. Have you not seen how many people complain over Brennan's lack of mobility. There were many of us dumbasses wanting to bench Brennan over it..

Playmaking QB in college is highly preferred by many now. If it's a pretty even battle then I prefer the guy who can run.

I desperately wanted LSU to take King, but they were content with Brennan. Maybe I was wrong, but I wanted as much competition and talent as possible.

It's unfortunate so many people live their lives with assumptions of racism anytime someone shows an opinion.

I just don't understand how people can live their life being so bitter. We are pulling for the same team. I can almost assure you that no one is upset that Finley is starting. Not until he potentially struggles.. and that goes for ANYONE.

Who ever starts will not be as good as the guy that’s hurt....that guy was the only thing between us and complete and utter humiliation cuz he scored the ball......we do not have any defense to take up the slack that is there...so we will be in jeopardy of humiliation no matter the opponent moving forward......so to be glad is kinda hollow....love you say hmmm....

Which is racist.

Not you of course, the assumption being made. Amazing that we live in a world where this needs to be clarified.
