Louisiana regent suggests Tech, UL, ULM drop to lower football tier
Odd for this to come to light after LSU recently made the news about their large operating deficit.

The answer is to split the power 4 and g6 into their own divisions with playoffs for both. They still can play each other for OOC games so the g6 can get the payoffs from the P4, but to have the g6 continue to strain itself to keep up with the P4 is ridiculous

You could put together a fun little conference with the schools from LA plus USM and a few from ARK and ETX. Local rivalries, easy travel.

ULL fans would take this very hard. They spent years and millions marketing themselves as University of Louisiana to make them sound more of a flagship university. Tough to keep up the fallacy when your football team is FCS

College sports as we knew them are dead. I agree the state shouldn’t be spending tens of millions on deficits to keep up. Will the state reallocate this money wisely? No.

Another reason to hate LSU.
I also think Dr. Jim Henderson was forced to resign.
Lines up perfectly with Steve Davidson exiting the UL board.
Landry is POS.
Tech is about to end up with some awful hire as president.
