Currently living in Mississippi but grew up in BR and if Louisiana didn't have such high out of state tuition rates, my daughter would be going to LSU next year but instead, she's heading to Ole Miss. I guess a sign of bad parenting??? I told her I would help her move in and out of her dorm and then see here once every other year after that. I also made it clear that chanting their queer cheer would not be tolerated.
I never really disliked Ole Miss folks until I moved to MS and for some reason, they actually think they are better than everybody else. The private schools in Jackson are a breading ground for the future white supremacist that mostly make up Ole Miss.
If you ever see the grove without the tailgating tents, it's a joke and their stadium is horrible. The tightest seating arrangement possible filled with 50 year olds that still think they're in a fraternity or sorority.

I don't know anything about Ole Miss. However, a few years back, couple of Columbia University professors published a study of "Bang for your buck" on education at all universities, including Ivy League.
Ole Miss was their top school. I was greatly surprised.

Bingo. We gained A&M. Especially after that bs they pulled on us in 2018. They caught our attention and I don’t see outcomes being much different than 50-7 while O is in charge. What is the point of hating Ole Miss in 2020? They aren’t a threat on the field or in recruiting what so ever. The more we dominate A&M the more recruits we secure. That series is way more important in the modern era we are in.
Auburn isn’t hate worthy because they help us by beating bama. Florida on the other hand is one we will always hate. I hate everything about them.

Yeah, obviously I hope we continue to dominate, but there’s no denying A&M has the resources to be good if they’d ever get out of their own way. Unlike Bama, Auburn, and Florida we at least share a border with them. I think the series will intensify, especially if they continue to not play UT.

Oh I am certain that a good chunk of them view us as the new UT. Especially younger ones. I’ve seen the shirts, cups and framed photo. They’re obsessed with that fluke win they got over us. Houston is full of tiger fans. It makes the series fun.

I went to Oxford for the 2013 debacle when we lost to them. I’ve never encountered another fan base that hates LSU more than Ole Miss fans.
It was honestly eye opening. When the game ended the entire ole miss suite section dumped their drinks on LSU fans below.
Crazy environment.

Yeah they threw stuff at us both times I've been there. That's another reason I hate Miles, his teams would always dick around with lower tier SEC teams like UM, he finished 7-4 against them and it could've easily been worse

It doesn't get any better for college football than to have LSU and Ole Miss play a meaningful football game.
Preferably around the end of October but the SEC only maintains tradition for selective schools.
I don't understand why LSU fans want Ole Miss down and out when beating them during their special seasons is so satisfying.

This is the most true thing I’ve read on here all day. If you’re an instate MS kid you only need a 16 to get in. I know for a fact tons of kids that don’t get into UT or UGA go to Ole Miss. The same could be said about LSU, Auburn, Arkansas and Bama. That’s why it’s funny to see those pricks act like they’re Harvard of the south or something. Their academics are below average.

I don’t buy that whole throwing stuff at us. Ole miss fans say the same about LSU fans. If it’s true it’s definitely not like they randomly throw drinks at people who aren’t talking smack to begin with. But I do agree about Les. To this day I still say he was fired because of his record against ole miss and Arkansas.
