Actually in 1996 it was very much out of spite. Dinardo had been their coach before we hired him and they weren't very happy about that.

Yeah. Vandy is wearing some kind or light grey alternate uniform that makes them look like a bunch of robots. That is okay. We should be able to handle Vandy even with purple jerseys.

I remember that. They were in litigation over his buyout. DiNardo refused to shake hands with the coach after the game because of that. We made a rare appearance in the gold jerseys which looked nice.

Do we have solid gold jerseys? Dark purple or black is extremely hot in September. I won't even mow the yard In those colors. If we have solid gold, we should try them.

good for the Vandy, the purple people eater is on the way. They are the ones that would not let LSU wear white in our stadium because they were mad at Dinardo.
