that's all great but LSU needs a much better Hurd then what we've seen all season as USC bats are hot coming in as well
LSU just needs a solid 5 innings or at least once thru the lineup and then you can turn it over to Ack, Ulloa and Little

Wouldn’t be surprised to see maybe Eskew come in for short work if it’s close. He didn’t throw much on Tuesday.

Bats will pop on both sides. Glad that is who we face. Hurd is a hero for how he pitched last year, but he definitely is not himself and has the worst WHIP and ERA on the team with guys over 20 innings pitched. He needed to face someone like Tyler to hopefully boost is own confidence.
Hopefully the runs come early for LSU so Hurd can feel comfortable and confident and he can give us 6 good innings.

As long as they don't take a few innings off at the plate they should be able to win today. It's distressing the way that happened throughout the season.

The next two games or more are great opportunities to let some of the kids play that were short on playing time. Atmosphere and situation is hard to duplicate for these kids that get this opportunity, you’re playing with house money right now. Make the most of it and let them enjoy the setting and atmosphere while getting much needed experience.
