Thanks for doing that. Pretty impressive, can’t wait to see them on the bump!!
re: Who is more revered in LSU Basketball history, Shaq or Pistol Pete?
Posted by Prhuck on 12/30/24 at 11:20 am to Voldemortnose
Pistol was a true magician on the hardwood and really beyond his years!! He was so special! We probably couldn't appreciate how good he was at the time but was so much fun to watch! Shaq on the other hand was a great Tiger also as we all know and proved it beyond a doubt in his years outside of LSU as a pro. Shaq was lucky enough to be on the floor with several other gifted players such as the likes of Stanley Robert’s and Chris Jackson. However —— Never has any LSU athlete been the Ambassador for LSU like SHAQ has been — hands down!! The only help that Pistol got on the floor was from Apple so I’ll go with Pistol but Shaq was in a league by himself as well!!
Special Teams

Who is it that is truly responsible for Special Teams? Our punting and for the most part our field goals are low sick.?????????
You know nothing about his situation yet you speak so loudly and with such clarity!!

Let the DA and the justice system do their job and let the coaches figure out the football part……..just take your seat in the courtroom or the stadium.

Absolutely correct! Remember hearing that the first time when I was walking around the Stadium in South Bend before the game.

I was at the game in South Bend. Remember ‘Touchdown Jesus and I remember the Casanova drop of the would be interception. What I remember the most about the whole game was watching Walt Putulkski catch Al Coffee from behind on an end around. Also went to the Ara Parsegian Pep Rally the night before in the Field House. We should have left with a W! Good trip - GO TIGERS!
Not sure, just asking. Is Josh Pearson not draft eligible? What is status of Reaves and what is expected of him?
re: For arguments sake, why wouldn't Jones come Back???

You need to strengthen your argument for both of those guys as I don’t believe that what you state will work!
re: Percentage of how worried you are about Jay Johnson leaving or even entertaining Texas
Posted by Prhuck on 6/11/24 at 9:41 am to ProjectP2294
No way you can have Vitello and Sark on the same college campus!
Coleman to start then…..Jay don’t know!
The next two games or more are great opportunities to let some of the kids play that were short on playing time. Atmosphere and situation is hard to duplicate for these kids that get this opportunity, you’re playing with house money right now. Make the most of it and let them enjoy the setting and atmosphere while getting much needed experience.
Totally agree, I’ll never forget the game or the press conference after, fun game - fun interview! Keep it going Tigers!
re: What is the deal with Ruddell?
Posted by Prhuck on 5/1/24 at 10:27 am to tigersbsbfan23
I agree with you as he was surely highly touted coming out of high school.
Did you really have to respond in such a negative fashion? We need to help promote these kids so we may have them around a couple of years, not show our a.. when talking about them!!!! Ridiculous!
re: This version of Gage Jump is key to salvaging the season
Posted by Prhuck on 4/20/24 at 1:16 am to Demonbengal
It was great to watch one of our pitchers besides Holman keeping his pitches “around the zone”. We have been needing this all year, hopefully we see a continued path back to pounding the zone for our pitchers. Jump was fun to watch tonight! Our offense tonight goes without saying as to how much fun that was, here’s to more of that and a better 2nd half of our year! With great effort — Let the chips fall where they may!
re: Hurd, Kling, and Pearson
Posted by Prhuck on 4/15/24 at 11:56 pm to ProjectP2294
Correct me if I am wrong but wasn’t Hurd involved with some community service work and didn’t he offer some type of donations just last year and maybe even at present - maybe having to do with his NIL money? Thought I remembered something to that effect.

I believe that we may be witnessing this lesson or teaching moment as we speak. Timing is everything when dealing with issues like this.
