F the piped in music, F the light shows, F new uniforms. I like TS without gimmicks, no pom poms, no color coordinated sections or yellow outs. Might as well make everything more expensive so the golf clapping Instagram social event folks fill up the stands instead of the rowdy bourbon drinking coonasses.
That being said, I know it makes a difference in recruiting. Gotta do what you gotta do.

Great, we are going to spend big bucks on lights,instead of bathrooms and upgrade concessions. That will probably get me to purchase more season tickets.

College sports are now nothing more than professional sports and it’s nothing more than squeezing every dollar from your alumni
It’s no longer a social event to come back to the alma mater to catch up on old times

I talked to my grandson on the phone and he is saying that this is actually good because kids don’t really drink beer like they ust to and now are eating mushrooms and ingesting acid and the light show will keep them engaged like an old hippy record I guess but with lights.
He was a child of the 80s and now I am thinking we are going back in time. Hopefully they do not distract anyone from are band which is better than any electronic noise or fisual at other schools that we are trying to copy.
