Prestigious.

What comes in the Texas Bowl goodie bag the players get? A glow in the dark compass, and a candy cane?

You would decline because LSU deserves so much more?? Why? We got our rear ends handed to us in 3 straight November games. Our idiot AD and president have made us the laughing stock of the NCAA sports world with the handling of the firing/not firing of Miles. I would hope that even the idiots in the athletic department realize this would give us another 30 days to work and prepare for next year. Yeah, I know, Miles...

You do realize they beat Arkansas on the road by double digits right? The same team we lost to by 17?

They've only played two teams at home that they lost to. One of them was by 3 to a fully loaded TCU offense, and the other team is 10-2 Oklahoma St. I don't know where you are getting your info from but Okie St is not worse than we are.

P.S. I highly doubt LSU could go 27/42 478 pass yards and 5 passing TDs to 1 int.

Texas Tech is no pushover.

Texas Bowl

I live in Houston, and I won't even flinch in making this game in person.

If I'm not busy, I might watch it on TV (at least what I can stomach).
it certainly will be an ugly, exasperating game typical of the les miles era where we screw around play stupidly, uninspired and win or lose you will feel gutted and unsatisfied. I am not one least bit interested in putting myself thru that crap.

I have heard from people associated with the team that if we don't get a playoff game or one of bi new years day bowl games (rose bowl, sugar bowl, ect.). The team is usually cheering for the Texas Bowl because its warm weather, its close, and it is relatively early so they get to end the season sooner.

Exactly. Les is looking forward to the offseason so he doesn't have to worry about "coaching" any more games.

Really? We got our asses kicked three weeks in a row, what makes you think we deserve better?? I may be biased since I live in Houston, but very favorable location for LSU fans and I just want the team to have a chance to win, not play a better opponent and lose. Not to knock Harris, but I just don't feel very comfortable with him against any team with a quality defense.

And LSU will likely lose to either one and once again be unranked at the end of the season. Insanity--doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Last years game had a 7-6 team against a 6-7 team. The Tigers would be an improvement for participants in this bowl.

So when did I say anything close to this? Now you are just melting because you were talking out of your a-hole before.

The people that believe LSU "deserves" better than this, are nuts!

I gave my opinion on a prediction. You jumped on my prediction like I was crazy.

I think we match up really well. Tech has definitely lost games against worse teams. I thought one or two of them were at home. But saying okie state is better than us is an opinion too.

I stand by my prediction.

I drove from Baton Rouge to Houston to see the opener last year versus Wisconsin. I typically travel to see at least one game a year, in addition to (when I was in Baton Rouge) attending almost every home game. I simply want this football season to end.

Les and his staff are enjoying their 3 weeks off, laughing it up, drinking beers, and tallying up their bank accounts to see who stole the most from the LSU community. Their shitty bowl is just an excuse for them to go dick around in Houston for a bit (probably gambling with the money they bilked from LSU)
