He has a pulse he is qualified to be #1 CB at LSU.

It’s unfortunate how bad we are at CB but all I’m seeing is 9 tackles in 2 years and he got passed up on the depth chart…

The rant is ready to crown him?

I’d be fine with 1 more that’s a bonafide starter and true lockdown guy and let these other guys battle for the #2 and #3.

I miss having at least one side of the field not an option for opposing QBs.

Sounds like OSUs version of Laterrance Welch (who was rated higher in the same class). Not putting high expectations on him but hoping the change of scenery do wonders for both players.

The first corner I see next season turn and find the ball in the air I will crown them #1 corner

No and this is how we put unrealistic expectations on unknowns players and shite on them when they don’t live up.

Or like when our coach awards a transfer #7 and it turns out he sucks at football

Started his entire freshman year and played in 3 games this year. Yeah, he’d be a #1 CB over Sage Ryan lol

Give me a breakdown of his stats and explain why they make you think he would be better. He may be but there is nothing concrete to show that.

I think it is a good pick up though.

He played 195 snaps as a true freshman, or 69 less snaps than Ashton Stamps played this year as a true Frehsman.

69.2 overall
69.2 coverage grade

a starter

:an actual starting CB:

695 snaps

70.5 overall
73.8 coverage

Nice pick up, if only for depth. We're gonna have a ton of guys in the DB room. If we hire a competent--or even good--DB coach (or 2), that and the open competition can only make everybody better, and the cream should rise to the top. If after spring, we still need guys, there should be some in that spring portal.

Is this new guy from OSU enrolling now so he can go through spring practice?

yes, if JK Johnson is healthy, you are correct

Jyaire will have his work cut out for him to beat out Alexander for CB2

I like that JK Johnson and Alexander have some good size the Deuce Chestnut experiment did not pan out very well because he was so small. College receivers are getting bigger and stronger.
