Looking into 2024, is Nuss the guy 100% or

does LSU look to portal again?
KJ Jefferson has a 6th year if he wants it and would be someone that might hit the portal.
Would you entertain someone like KJ at LSU?
I think Nuss is more than capable so I doubt LSU upsets the apple cart here. I'm sure if Kelly went to portal, Nuss would look to leave for sure.

Nuss has a strong arm and throws a tight spiral.
There isn't a lot to judge him on yet, but looks like he has a way to go before he can be an effective SEC level starter. I hope he develops, but i hope we look for insurance in the portal.

Nuss throws bombs in pregame warmups each week. With an entire offseason of practice as the starter, I’m sure he will be just fine for LSU. His backup is what worries me and I hope Kelly gets us a solid backup soon.

Nuss is the guy. We have some great young QBs coming in behind him. QB future looks good.

I think Kelly looks for a guy in the portal considering there is a chance Nuss is one and done next year. Dude waited his turn and if he lights it up I wouldn't be shocked to see him declare.
Not saying that's likely but I'm sure Coach Kelly knows it's a possibility and will weigh his options. Can not have enough QB depth in this portal era.
